Antique Napoleon III slipper chair c1800s. Upholstered in Christopher Farr Cloth Lost and Found Fabric by Kit Kemp with turned legs freshly painted in Annie Sloan burgundy with a lacquered finish OR customer’s own fabric. The chair is sourced and upholstered to order and you can choose you fabric colour from the dropdown menu, send us your own or request a quote in a fabric supplied by us (see list of designers below) . The pictured chair is an example of the finished look.

A beautifully proportioned antique chair, carefully restored and upholstered to order in your chosen fabric. Each chair is individually prepared in our London studio, combining traditional upholstery techniques with a clean, tailored finish that allows your fabric to take centre stage.

Elegant and compact with gently sloping arms and a supportive upright back, this style works equally well as a bedroom chair, occasional chair, or statement piece in a sitting room.

Your chair will be upholstered by hand using professional upholstery methods to ensure comfort, durability, and a refined silhouette true to the original period form.

Fabric Requirements if sending us your own:

Approx. 3 - 3.5 metres of fabric required (patterned fabrics welcome) .
Pattern matching is carefully considered to achieve a balanced result across the chair.

Legs are typically left as found but alternative finishes are available on request.

As each piece is made to order using vintage frames, minor variations in shape and character are part of their charm and authenticity.

We can facilitate international shipping which MUST be quoted individually prior to ordering. If you place your order before approving international shipping costs we have to cancel it which can incur transaction fees we aren’t then refunded.
